Setting

The setting seems to be where things are getting interesting. When you think of the French language, you typically think of either the Meditaranean, Alsace via Christmas Markets, or Haiti and Carribean. Maybe Algeria. With Japanese, either the Ainu or south-side perhaps Kumamoto or some coastal vista.

When using seeds to figure out spawn points in Luanti, this seem to gravitate either to colder than the coldest sandy deserts, where I call "black sand", mountanous islands regions of various biome, or snow winter wonderlands ( think Finland or Scandinavian countries. )

This doesn't necessarily that's what the final setting will be, but it's something I'm factoring in when developing the conlang. Of the most interesting the word for black tiger, which seems to concentrate where the coldest sandy deserts are.

Once I make purple grey biomes again, I'm going to watch closely to see how spawning is effected.
